Headshots and Portraiture – FAQ

Can you create professional head shots for my business profiles on facebook, twitter and linkin and other social media sites?
The right professional headshots for the social media sites is really important and it is an area of photography I am experienced in. Most of all I understand the importance to your business is to get a perfect headshot – where you look both natural and also extremely professional. We want to show them who you are and what you can do.

Do I need to bring any props if I want a more creative or artistic photo?
I have some great props but if you have your own props or ideas then I would love to use whatever you have in mind. Artistic photography can be very simple or it can be something more elaborate but it is all about what you want your artistic photo to portray, there really is no one answer or any one prop.

We have a very special event coming up and need an extra special event photographer – help!
Being a professional event photographer means you have to do two things – blend into the background but at the same time getting in amongst it! As an event photographer my job is to taking stunning action photos over and over again to make sure I capture a series of events during the big day.

I notice you are a Tauranga photographer – do you take photos outside of Tauranga?
Definitely but there will be a travelling expense. Normally this is based on a km rate, which we can discuss at the time of appointment.

We want to capture the miracle of birth and need some amazing shots of our newborn baby – do you specialise in baby photography?
I think the birth of a baby is one of the most amazing things in the world and I would love to be part of your special moment taking those first photos to celebrate the birth of your special little one.
A lot of baby photography is just so beautiful because it is a special moment in time you can hold onto forever in one photo. If you are living away from family or you just want to share this amazing event with loved ones then I can create the most amazing gift book full of your baby photos (plus keep one for yourself!)
